One of the ways we give back to the community is through our partnership with Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity, in our Habitat for Canines Project. It’s through this partnership we build dog houses for the new Habitat for Humanity homeowners, give responsible dog ownership information and a bag of goodies!
To kick off this project, we brought together members of the community, with the help of KJ103-FM. Over 100 volunteers were successful in building over 80 dog houses for the existing Habitat for Humanity homeowners. The project will continue to build dog houses as each homeowner moves in.
This project also holds an EXTREME DOG HOUSE Competition every spring. Entrants will build the most extreme dog house, to be displayed at Penn Square Mall. Raffle tickets are available to win your favorite!
