4-6 MONTH PUPPY COMPETITION

Bring your Beginner Puppies (4-6 months of age) to the 4-6 Month Special Attraction (AKC Sanctioned)
Classes offered for breeds and varieties divided into Groups as described in Chapter 3, Section 1 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows and the Miscellaneous Class breeds as listed in Chapter 3, Section 23. The Miscellaneous class competition will be judged by breed followed by a group competition. Foundation Stock Service breeds may compete and the winners of each FSS breed will compete in an "FSS Group." The Miscellaneous Group and FSS Group winners will be eligible to compete in Best 4-6 Month Puppy In Show.
An AKC registration number or litter number required for entries of an AKC recognized breed. FSS number or FSS registered litter number required for Miscellaneous & FSS Breed entries. Dogs must be four months of age or older but under 6 months.
Dogs are required to be vaccinated in accordance with their veterinarian's protocol in order to avoid inadvertent transmission of illness by/to puppies not yet fully immunized.
AKC Rules in Dealing with Misconduct will be applicable to any person and dog entered at this competition. All applicable rules found in Rules Applying to Dog Shows will govern the conduct of this competition unless these regulations state otherwise.
Exhibitors should plan on opening the mouth of their puppy for the judges. Breed standard disqualifications such as color, height, weight or dentition shall not be a point of consideration in the judging process for this 4-6 month Puppy Special Attraction event.
Rosettes will be offered for Group Placements, First through Fourth as well as Best 4-6 Month Puppy In Show.
Entries will close at 3:00pm on Thursday, June 30, 2011.
Entry Fee: $15.00 for each puppy entered
